Personal Information Collected
When You create an account on the Site, Elite Email Verifier may ask for Personal Information such as Your name, email address, credit card information, and other Information ("Personal Information"). In compliance with the Privacy Shield Principles, Elite Email Verifier commits to resolve complaints about Your privacy and our collection or use of Your Personal Information. Elite Email Verifier has further committed to refer unresolved privacy complaints under the Privacy Shield Principles to an independent dispute resolution mechanism, the BBB EU Privacy Shield, operated by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States, to address complaints and provide appropriate recourse free of charge to the individual. Elite Email Verifier is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC"), or any other U.S. authorized statutory body. The FTC has jurisdiction over Elite Email Verifier's compliance with the Privacy Shield.
The place of arbitration shall be the United States, and in-person participation will not be required. Irrespective of the outcome of arbitration, each party shall bear its own attorneys' fees. The arbitrator(s) has the authority to impose individual-specific, non-monetary equitable relief necessary to remedy any violation of the Privacy Shield Principles only with respect to the individual.
CHANGES
Elite Email Verifier reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy. The date affixed next to the "Last Updated" legend above corresponds with the date the Privacy Policy was last revised. Elite Email Verifier reserves the right, at any time, and without notice, to add to, change, update, or modify this Privacy Policy. ANTI-SPAM POLICY
What is SPAM?
“Spam” refers to electronic messages (e.g., emails, newsletters, and notifications) that are unsolicited and sent in bulk to users, clients, and prospects, usually for commercial purposes.
How do we deal with SPAM?
We have a zero-tolerance spam policy. This means that we do not tolerate any spam received from our users, we do not send spam, and we do not tolerate the use of emailverifier to faciliate in the sending of spam. Emailverifier is not for the verification of addresses that are not opt-in, meaning that the recipient did not explicitly agree to receiving email from the sender. These include:
- Purchased email lists
- Harvested email lists
- Scraped email lists
- Generated email lists
- Rented email addresses.
- Opt-out email addresses
Additionally, we comply with all applicable privacy and anti-spam laws including, but not limited to, the US CAN-SPAM Act, the GDPR, and the EU ePrivacy Directive, and we require our users to do the same.
Our commercial communication
In our privacy policy available at https://emailverifier.co/privacy-policy, we explain in detail how we send marketing-related communication to our users. Please note that service-related technical emails are not considered to be marketing communication and we send them to inform you about important matters on an “if-needed” bases. We send newsletters, brochures, promotions, advertisements, and other commercial communication to our users only if:

A Data Processing Agreement offers an overview of the data we collect and how we process it. A contra-signed Data Processing Agreement is available on request. A list of Third-Party Data Processors is available upon request. Internal logs on any aspect that involves your lists. Ability to choose the region of the validation servers, available on request. You can choose the region of the validation servers to be either in the EU or in North America.
Protocols Addressed with Elite Email Verifier:
Data Deletion: At the end of your engagement with Elite Email Verifier, you can request the deletion of any data sent to us for verification. We always comply with these requests and provide you with the ability to delete your own data by accessing your account.
Record Processing Activities: In compliance with GDPR, we maintain a record of our processing activities. We provide this information to our customers through their EmailVerifier accounts and maintain logs that identify the date, list name (if appropriate), processing location, and total records processed for each customer.
Data Movement Restrictions: Elite Email Verifier customers in the EU are now able to process their lists locally on EU servers. This is not necessarily a mandate under GDPR but our EU customers requested it, so we built it.
